I tried to upload a cute picture of Pepe and I was told that I am out of space for my Picassa web albums account. I have tried deleting from what's shown in my Picassa web albums, but that's not making a difference. I can really use some blog buddy assistance to figure this out. Google is letting me buy extra storage, but if there is a way to delete things I would prefer to go that route. Thanks, buddies!

I have had that notice several times and it did work for me when I deleted old pictures. I think that maybe sometimes it just takes a little bit for the change to go into effect. I hope it works out for you too.
ReplyDeleteI never signed up for the web part of picassa but do all of my photos via the program-I then save it to the desk top and upload to blog land from there...
ReplyDeleteI once spent an entire day going through my picasa images and deleting tons of images to no avail.
ReplyDeleteI contacted the help section and once they show you've reached the limit you're done. So I spent...$5 I think. It is pretty cheap. Now I make sure I edit regularly to make it last as long as possible.
I have been afraid to delete photos from my picassa for fear they will disappear from my blog. Aren't they linked somehow? Everything I upload from my computer to my blog is on Picassa automatically.
ReplyDeleteI paid the $5 and it fixed everything:) I am a photo hoarder and NEVER delete them... so $5 isn't that much for what I get for it! Hope you get it all figured out! Have a blessed weekend, HUGS!

ReplyDeleteI faced d similar prob some couple of months ago, after my continuous deleting of unwanted pics from picasa too, it didn't helped me..so I purchased the extra storage for 10 $ and now its fuss free..:)

When I'm finished editing in Picasa I export the photos to a folder on my hard drive. I load them to my blog from there. I used to use Picasa Web Albums but when I edited or deleted photos they disappeared from my blog. It might be easier to just pay the 5 bucks and keep doing things like you are used to. Not sure I was any help. Good luck!
