Question of the Decade...

...or at least the day. Marshmallows or whipped cream in your hot cocoa? I am a marshmallow girl all-around and before beginning an informal, yet comprehensive survey on Pinterest I believed marshmallows were the favored topping. Ha! Whipped cream blows marshmallows out of the water. There were very few pictures of marshmallow topped cocoa and hundreds of whipped cream decorated mugs. Hundreds!




This is one beautiful cup of hot chocolate and I'd be happy to find it in my kitchen any time, but I am affirming my loyalty to marshmallows.




Marshmallows, you may be the underdog, but I love you!

    Whipped cream all the way, marshmallows just melt!!! What fun is that? Unsweetened whipped cream has no carbs, just add some vanilla. Yummy. xo

    I love the Marshmellows! When they melt they do look a lot like whipped cream though. Hope your Monday is a sweet one too!

    On a cold winter's day I love a cup of WHITE hot chocolate, topped with marshmellow creme. YUMMY. ENJOY yours. Take care.

    If you are over 55 it is marshmallows and hot cocoa...all below this age it is the whipped stuff with hot chocolate. I'm in the 60 + line so you know what mine is...cocoa and the marsh all the way! However, it can go both ways, right?

    Oohhh! My mouth just watered at the whipped cream drizzled with caramel. Then I saw the home made marshmallow!
    I once bought some at a Whole Foods store at an exorbitant price but they were to die for! Yum!

    I always loved marshmallows too BUT, lately I am hooked on McDonald's mocha frappe' topped with whipped cream and a drizzle of hot fudge!!!

    Wow-eee!!! Look at those beautiful marshmallows. I've never tasted one that looked that delicious . . . I've never even seen one like that -

    So sorry .... Can't drink cocoa as I am lactose intolerant. If you add water it already has milk in the mix.....

    What fun! I vote for whipped cream; marshmallows are great in Rice Krispie Treats or S'Mores, but too sweet for cocoa.

    If you go to etsy.com they have lots of homemade, custom flavored marshmallows. I've always been fascinated by them and they are so yum! :O)
