Christmas in Chicago

Macy's on State Street

A highlight of last month's trip to Chicago was lunch at Macy's on State Street. We ate in the fabulous Walnut Room, which dates from 1907. I fell in love with the Christmas tree display and saved them to share with you today. I haven't wanted to brave the crowds at Macy's here in New York City, but may make an excursion next week.

Wishes for a bright and blessed Christmas Eve.

  6. CHICAGO. LOVE seeing an old familar place. At Christmas there is a hustle, bustling in that town just like in a city you're familar with. LOL I want you to know that I feel very fortunate to have found you and your blog. I am so glad to be part of Buttercup Land. Thank you for all your kind comments on my blogs. I hope you as you celebrate the last days of Chanukah and Christmas today, you are touched with joy, hope and peace. Take care.
