Giuliana and Buttercup, BlogHer '11
During BlogHer '11 I posted any number of goofy pictures. I popped up with the Pringle Man, Mr. Brawny and the California Raisin. All were fun, but none more fun to meet than Giuliana Rancic. I am a tremendous fan of "Fashion Police," and was delighted to get to meet Giuliana, and more delighted to have a photo taken with her. She was warm and friendly and so pretty in person. I was saddened to see the news today and learn that Giuliana had been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Since we met at BlogHer I feel that Giuliana is an honorary citizen of Buttercupland and ask for prayers and healing wishes for our sister citizen.

I am a big fan of Giuliana - stuff happens when you mess with hormones, I believe. I follow her and Bill on Twitter. Love their reality show and also Fashion Police. xo
ReplyDeleteI have never seen Fashion Police but I too am a big fan of Giuliana. I was very happy when Bill Rancic and her got married. They make a delightful pair. She is so beautiful. Seems genuine. So sad to hear this news about the breast cancer. They've been trying for so long to have a baby, that this must be devastating. I'm glad she's an honorary citizen of Buttercupland. She'll be in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteI can't help but wonder if her IVF attempts didn't accelerate the cancer. Will keep her in prayer!
ReplyDeleteBoy Buttercup this has been a bad week for our blog friends! sandie

ReplyDeleteHi Buttercup
ReplyDeleteHow nice to see your picture! And, how nice that you have a personal interest in Giuliana's story.
ReplyDeleteWhat heartbreak it must be to learn you have cancer and have to give up your hopes of having a baby! She is really staying strong and I admire her for that.
So cool that you met her - - - but now it is so sad that she has to undergo treatments for breast cancer. Cancer is so wicked.
