Five years ago,  at my local subway stop

  1. I grew up in the Atlanta area and my parents were very much involved in the movement for civil rights. I even attended a drama class at a local Quaker church where I met MLK, Jr.'s daughter, Yolanda. My heart broke when I heard of her untimely death. Her light shone just like her father's did. Blessings, Carol!

  2. MLK was a remarkable voice who is not being heard by this administration.

  5. How wonderful if another bold pastor like Martin Luther King Jr would arise to be a leader and a good influence. He inspired me to join the Civil Rights Movement and to take part in marches, etc.
