I wish you all could have been there. Hungry Girl is more fun in person than in writing. She's helpful, funny and it was a great evening. Didn't make it to the Laughing Cow/Babybel after party, but got an almost front-row seat at the signing/talk that started the evening. There were samples of some Hungry Girl favorite foods -- Laughing Cow, VitaTops and Fiber One -- and a great raffle, which included a year's supply of VitaTops.
Lisa -- I feel I know her now -- spoke about her goal when she began her daily emails in 2004. She wanted to be a "best foodie friend," and that's exactly how it felt last night...that I got to meet my best foodie friend. I also feel very inspired to eat more sensibly and tackle a few more pounds. I'll keep you posted on the latter.
Wishes for a great spring day!
That would have been so much fun to hear her talk. Did she have to lose weight when she started or just want to be a helpful foodie friend?

ReplyDeleteOh man, I bet that you had a ball!
ReplyDeleteI love their site, and have the 200 under 200 cookbook. She's so bubbly, isn't she?
Such a nice event for you to attend. There certainly are perks to living in the big city, aren't there?
Wow, I wish I could have been there. But then, I'd be happy just to be in New York!
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat event! Great blog you have.
